Shalinee Thakur works as a Senior Nonprofit Strategy & Finance Consultant focused on driving social impact through capacity building and financial sustainability. With over 20 years of experience, she specializes in helping mission-driven organizations scale operationally, improve efficiency, and diversify revenue, with a particular emphasis on strengthening long-term resilience. Previously, she held senior leadership roles at Salesforce.org, where she led global expansion, built customer success operations, and drove strategic planning initiatives across executive teams.
Shalinee began her career in finance in the heart of Silicon Valley, building a strong foundation in financial strategy and operational excellence. Her life goal is to help bridge the socio-economic divides that cause poverty. She is on the board of Vera Solutions, a global social enterprise and B corporation driven to amplify the social sector’s measurement and impact. She also serves on the board of the San Francisco Friends School supporting governance structures and financial well-being. She holds an MBA from USC Marshall School of Business and BA degrees in Economics and Psychology from UCLA.
