BaLeigh Waldrop

Position: Senior Nonprofit Finance Consultant

Since 2022, BaLeigh has been helping 20 Degrees’ clients unlock best practices from the for-profit, corporate world. Her work bridges those insights into the nonprofit and social sector, helping organizations build financial and operational sustainability.

She holds a Master of Accountancy in Taxation and began her career as a tax associate at Pricewaterhouse Coopers. After building a strong foundation in accounting and finance, BaLeigh brought that expertise to her family’s business, a deeply rooted community enterprise her great-grandfather founded in 1952. Though her title was CFO, she wore many hats leading the multi-site, eight-figure company. During that time, she emerged as an industry expert, appearing on panels and contributing to national conversations, helping independent, family-owned businesses think through best practices and long-term financial sustainability.

Today, BaLeigh channels her technical training, business experience, and love of teaching into work she genuinely loves. Her passion for making complex topics easy to digest shows up both in her client work at 20 Degrees and in her role as a Faculty Associate at Arizona State University, where she brings accounting concepts to life for students. It all adds up to one goal: helping mission-driven organizations build the financial foundation to further their mission and create an organization their employees, board members, and community are proud to be a part of.
